ABOUT THE PLUMPJACK/LINK GOLF CLASSIC
For 9 years, PlumpJack Group has hosted the PlumpJack/LINK (Learning, Information, Networking and Knowledge) Golf Classic. As a result of the generous support of our sponsors, participants and donors, we have generated over $1.3 million dollars in net proceeds, which have gone directly to the Northern California Caner Center (NCCC).
As the Bay Area's leading independent, population-based research organization, the Northern California Cancer Center is dedicated to its mission of preventing cancer and improving the quality of life for those living with cancer. The NCCC scientists are at the forefront of research into the causes and prevention of cancer which provides helpful information to local cancer patients, their families and health care professionals, and their findings are shared with academic institutions across the country.
This year's Annual PlumpJack/LINK Golf Classic will take place on Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Lake Merced Golf and Country Club in Daly City. It promises to be just as successful as in the previous years - reaching over 350 affluent and influential community/business leaders at the event, and an additional 55,000 homes through advertising and publicity.
Our annual event attracts many national corporations, businesses, and dedicated individuals from a broad cross section of industries. Some of these sponsors include: Morgan Stanley, Northern Trust, Bank of America, American Express, Tiffany & Co., GAP Inc., Forward Funds, ReFlow, California Pacific Medical Center, Fremont Bank, and McGuire Real Estate just to name a few.
