ABOUT THE PLUMPJACK/LINK

PlumpJack would like to express a heartfelt appreciation to all sponsors, donors and volunteers who participated in the 10^th Annual PlumpJack/LINK Golf Classic. The Cancer Prevention Institute of California received donations totaling nearly $200,000, bringing our tenth year total to more than 1.8 million dollars. We look forward to another successful year!

The Annual PlumpJack/LINK (Learning, Information, Networking and Knowledge) Golf Classic is seeking your support to help continue to raise funds for breast cancer research and education. As the only center in the country dedicated solely to cancer prevention research, the Cancer Prevention Institute of California is dedicated to its mission of preventing cancer where possible and reducing the burden of cancer where it cannot yet be prevented. CPIC scientists are at the forefront of research into the causes and prevention of cancer so we can stop this disease before it starts and keep our families and friends healthy. CPIC research findings are published in highly-respected scientific journals and shared with academic institutions across the country and CPIC constituents through the organization’s monthly eNewsletter. If you, your family or friends have been touched by cancer, you understand the urgency to put more and better resources toward preventing this disease.
