Balboa Cafe has touched down in Mill Valley

Following the same tradition and spirit of Balboa Cafe in San Francisco as the "in" place to eat, drink and make merry – this American bistro features classic dishes in a timeless setting.

The restaurant offers seasonal menus with treasured favorites such as the Balboa Burger and savory new dishes like the Fried Green Tomato Napoleon. Open for dinner daily from 5 pm – 11 pm and lunch Monday-Friday from 11:30 am – 5 pm. Weekend Brunch coming soon.

Starting Sunday, October 19th, Jack Falstaff will feature a four-course family style menu along with a consolidated version of our regular menu.

Executive Chef Jonnatan Leiva will feature old favorites from Signature Butter Milk Fried Chicken and Mac & Cheese to Braised Oxtail with Fettuccine. We will also be offering select carafes of wine normally served by the bottle.

Grower's Dinner

Join us for a very special Farm-to-Table dinner highlighting Star Route Farms little lettuces, Manteca Farms Suckling Pig and Iron Horse Vineyards. On Tuesday, October 21st Chef Leiva will combine these three local producers to feature their seasonal best. Enjoy a delectable menu while mingling with the growers and winemaker all in one night. The dinner will be held from 5:30-10:00 pm. The cost is $100 per person.

A Series of Special Offerings in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Chef Leiva competes on the Food Network Channel
Jack Falstaff Executive Chef Jonnatan Leiva will be competing on the Food Network Challenge on Sunday, October 5th at 8 pm. He's up against James Beard Rising Star Chef Sean Brock, Chris Cheung of New York’s Monkey Bar and other nationally known chefs, to see who can create the best "Fresh and Contemporary" dish.
